JCI Orange City, in association with JCI Nagpur Central, proudly organised an enriching session on “Chairmanship & Parliamentary Procedures” conducted by JCI Sen. Dilip Kamdar Sir. This session went far beyond meeting rules and formal procedures.
It was a masterclass on leadership, communication, emotional intelligence, and the art of creating spaces where every voice is heard with dignity.

One of the strongest takeaways from the session was a simple yet powerful realization:
A good leader does not control the discussion a good leader guides it with patience, fairness, and purpose. Whether in boardrooms, businesses, social organizations, or everyday life, the ability to listen, manage differences, and lead discussions constructively defines impactful leadership.

Effective Public Speaking (EPS)
JCI Orange City Pulls Off a Memorable Two-Day Effective Public Speaking Workshop
If you've ever frozen up at a podium or stumbled over your words in front of a crowd, you'd know exactly why an event like this matters.
JCI Orange City wrapped up a two-day workshop on Effective Public Speaking (EPS) this weekend, and by all accounts, it was something special. Held on April 11 and 12, the sessions were led by Dr. Suresh Chari, a soft skills trainer who's been doing this long enough to have seen just about every kind of speaker walk through a room.
Twenty-two people were picked for the training, and that selective group clearly made a difference. Some of them had travelled in from other states, which says a lot about the kind of reputation this workshop carried before it even began.
Over the two days, participants worked through everything from voice modulation and body language to structuring a speech that actually holds an audience's attention. But what made it click wasn't the theory, it was the doing. Live speaking exercises pushed everyone to get up, face the room, and just talk. By day two, the difference in how people carried themselves was hard to miss.
Dr Chari brings over 45 years of teaching and training experience to the table. He's a Professor of Biochemistry at NKP Salve Institute of Medical Sciences, a FAIMER Fellow, a Best Teacher Award recipient, and the founder of Attitudes: Chari's Personality Grooming Centre. He's trained people across more than 25 organisations, and it shows in how he runs a room.
President JC Aishwarya Vakil and Secretary JC Ar steered the workshop. Riya Kothari, with solid support from JC Jyoti Kanoje and JC Priyanshu Jain; Boots on the ground were by JC Athira R and JC Avani Bhargawa.
For JCI Orange City, this is just another step in what's becoming a quiet but consistent effort to give people the kind of skills that actually change how they show up at work, on stage, and everywhere in between.
Think Boldly, Lead Bravely
JCI Orange City, in collaboration with Dharampeth Mahila Bank, hosted a transformative session titled "Think Boldly, Lead Bravely." As captured in the local media, the event aimed to move beyond traditional rituals and actively integrate the management genius of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj into modern daily and professional lives.

Strategic Insights: Pilot Faculty JC Dr Vijay Sharma delivered a masterclass on applying "Ganimi Kava" (guerrilla tactics) to business, focusing on resource optimisation and maintaining "Crisis Detachment" under pressure.

Historical Wisdom: Expert speakers Mr Kartik Pathak and Mr Atul Guru decoded the Maharaj’s communication mastery, humility, and disciplined fort administration.

Bridging Eras: The event concluded with a high-octane panel discussion featuring the guest speakers alongside Past President JC Mukesh Ashar, seamlessly bridging 17th-century strategy with contemporary JCI leadership.
According to JCI Orange City President Aishwarya Vakil, the core vision of the initiative was to ensure that the Maharaj's legacy isn't just revered in frames, but actively practiced in our actions.
Beyond Individual Brilliance
JCI Orange City organized an impactful training session on team building and collaboration titled "Beyond Individual Brilliance." Held at a local city hotel in Nagpur, the event was featured in Lokmat Times.
The workshop focused on shifting mindsets from solo excellence to collective team power, equipping members and students with essential collaborative skills.

JCI Orange City Marks Golden Jubilee;
Installs 51st President
Junior Chamber International (JCI) Orange City celebrated a historic milestone as it completed 50 glorious years of service, leadership and community development, marking its Golden Jubilee celebrations, along with the installation of the 51st President, at a grand ceremony held at Naivedhyam Eastoria, Nagpur.
The event witnessed the presence of past presidents, senior Jaycees, founders, and distinguished members who have shaped the organisation’s journey since its inception in 1976. The celebrations reflected the rich legacy of JCI Orange City in nurturing young leaders and contributing meaningfully to society over five decades.
A key highlight of the evening was the felicitation of past presidents across different decades, honouring their invaluable contributions and leadership. Several iconic Jaycees were felicitated, and emotional moments marked the remembrance of late members who played a pivotal role in strengthening the organisation.
The Golden Jubilee programme also included interactive sessions, audio-visual presentations showcasing the journey of JCI Orange City, and a special segment acknowledging founders and senior members.
The formal installation ceremony of the 51st President was conducted with traditional JCI protocols, symbolising continuity of leadership and commitment to JCI values. The newly installed President, in his acceptance address, reiterated the organisation’s commitment to leadership development, community service, and youth empowerment.
The celebration concluded with a collective oath, group photographs, marking a memorable evening that celebrated the past, acknowledged the present, and looked forward to a stronger future.
